Getting involved is really easy! You can help out a few hours here and there, or make it a more regular commitment, it's all up to you. Whatever you choose to do, we are sure that by joining us you will meet new people that share your interests while also making the world a better place for us all.

The Cooperatives
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the café is open. You can come to Johnston between 10am and 3pm, to help with cooking, serving or cleaning up. Volunteers get a free soup and toastie! You can also help with organising our political activities, such as film screenings or debates. Send us an email at sharedplanet@abdn.ac.uk or on our facebook page.
On Tuesdays, we run the Vegbag. We need help to go pick up the vegetables at the farm in the morning, then pack the vegetables in Johnston from 11, sell them between 12 and 2, and then clean up. Volunteers get £2 off their bag of vegetables. Send us an email at vegbagscheme@gmail.com!
The Corner is open 5 days a week, you can volunteer for 1 hour slots, our rota changes on a weekly basis. If you volunteer for more than 2h every week, you become a member and are entitled to the members discount on everything we sell. Message us on facebook, or send us an email at thecorner@abdn.ac.uk.
The campaigns
We always need new activists to join our campaigns! Being an activist means that you get to fight for the things you believe in while also developing a range of creative and communicational skills and learning from the other activists around you.
